Cover Story - Limited Edition Exhibition Book

‘Cover Story’, an exhibition held at the London Lighthouse Gallery in July 2022, featured front cover photographs from British queer quarterly Jack The Lad, celebrating seven years of artist introductions from across the gay community, and marking the release of this independent art and culture magazine’s 30th edition.

This stunning 184 page commemorative book goes far beyond those original 30 exhibition images, telling the story of the magazines 7 year history through 100’s of original pictures, including plenty of never-seen-before cover-shoot out-takes, all stunningly presented in this unique, limited edition collectors volume that no coffee table should be seen without.

With a remit to champion exciting new talent, every issue of Jack The Lad has been packed with exclusively curated galleries by specially selected artists and photographers from across the UK and around the world. Alongside these, Jack The Lad has so far featured eighty-nine ‘podcasts in print’, fascinating in-depth interviews recorded with a wide variety of actors, activists, allies, musicians, models, singers, adult entertainers, DJ’s, drag queens and film makers, many of whom often find themselves ignored by the mainstream LGBTQ+ media, but whose authentic voices speak volumes about what it really means to be gay in the 21st Century.
